As change management has become more of a focus for firms in recent years, those with more resources have had an advantage. But Ed Empamano, chief information officer at Dykema, suggests change management isn't out of smaller firms' reach.

While Australian automation provider Josef is using OpenAI's latest large language model, the trainable data the new tool accesses is intentionally kept narrow, which Josef says helps avoid inaccurate or irrelevant outputs like those seen in ChatGPT.

"The fear that most people have is that ChatGPT will be asked to provide either a line of argument or a resolution of an issue that is disputed by the parties that the judge accepts in making a decision without disclosing it before the decision is made and giving them an opportunity to object," said former federal Judge Paul Grimm.
