(Washington, DC and Memphis, TN) – Siskind Susser, PC announces partnership with a legal software company to launch new cloud-based Ai technology to aid in immigration processes.
Visalaw.ai, founded by lawyers and innovation professionals at nationally known immigration law firm Siskind Susser, PC, has entered into a collaboration agreement with Fastcase, the legal technology and data company, to assist its NextChapter company in the development of a state-of-the-art immigration case management and document automation system. The new product will build on the NextChapter case management platform and will incorporate thousands of pages of practice management materials from Siskind Susser partners Greg Siskind and Ari Sauer’s new “Cookbook”.
“We are excited that lawyers relying on the Cookbook will now have a case management system customized to match the systems in our book,” said Greg Siskind. In addition to checklists, client questionnaires, and process steps like other products have, the NextChapter product will have document templates, sample government forms, “cheat sheets” to help lawyers avoid submitting cases before every necessary step is taken, and detailed overviews of the law applicable to a particular case type.
In addition to providing content for NextChapter, Visalaw.ai and Siskind Susser will work closely with the NextChapter team to develop a case management product that meets the day-to-day practice management needs of immigration lawyers. “We’ve been studying the immigration case management space for years including conducting an annual in-depth survey of immigration law firms regarding their case management systems. We plan on applying that research to this project and focusing on helping NextChapter deliver a product that is ground-breaking, user-friendly and helps legal teams automate their practices in new ways. The goal is to help firms deliver better results for clients, maximize productivity and, ultimately, be more profitable,” according to Visalaw.ai co-founder Josh Waddell.
For NextChapter, as Vice President Mandy Ballinger notes, “the vision to extend beyond bankruptcy workflow to general practice first with Doc Creator | NextChapter (nextchapterlegal.com) forms automation and now in support of Immigration practice workflow enables more and more law firms to generate workflow solutions from client intake to forms creation to invoicing and firm management.”
