Secretary of State Annual Report Filing Deadline Extensions

Several states have extended their annual report filing deadlines due to the Coronavirus.

Please see below for updated annual report filing deadlines.

Important: Several Secretary of State offices may have reduced their operating hours or closed altogether due to the Coronavirus. This may delay some current orders and potentially some future orders as well. We will be contacting those with orders affected via email, but if you have any questions please contact us at 844.386.0178. We will update this page frequently as we hear more from the states.

Arkansas

Late fees will on businesses' annual franchise tax will be waived until July 15, 2020.

District of Columbia

Biennials and Trade Name Renewals may be filed without penalty from April 2- June 1, 2020.

Florida

Annual Report filing deadline has been extended to June 30, 2020.



Georgia

Annual Registration filings have been extended to May 1st, 2020. The Georgia Department of Revenue is automatically extending the 2019 income tax filing to July 15, 2020.

Kansas

The deadline for filing Annual Reports has been extended to July 15, 2020.


Illinois

Annual Report due date extended by at least 30 days, and penalties are being waived.

Maryland

Annual Report filing date extended to July 15 for all entities.

Michigan

State and local income tax filing/payment deadlines extended to July 15, 2020.



Nevada

60-Day Annual Report extension issued.

New Hampshire

1 month Annual Report extension issued.

Texas

Due date for Franchise Tax Reports extended to July 15, 2020.


Pennsylvania

Deadline to file PA Tax Returns extended - returns due by April 15 have been extended to July 15; returns due by May 15 have been extended to August 14.

SEC Filings

The SEC will provide public companies with a 45-day extension to file certain disclosure reports that would otherwise have been due between March 1 and July 1, 2020.
